The LCRA will hold its Annual General Meeting on Monday, March 23, 2015 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Once again, we were able to secure the Rouge River Community Centre within Legacy to host the event.
We have the infrastructure to support child minding activities, but are still in search of volunteers to help. We will send another e-mail several days before the event to confirm that you can bring your little ones along to do some colouring and other supervised activities while you participate in the AGM. If you wish to volunteer to help, please email events@legacynet.ca.
Our agenda will include the following:
Welcome, opening remarks and 2014 year in review
Approval of 2014 AGM minutes (published in this edition of The Legacy Voice)
2015 Executive Team and Officer Elections – If you are interested in becoming an elected member of the Executive Team, please send an email to co-chair@legacynet.ca.
Q&A with Deputy Mayor Jack Heath
LCRA Workshop: What’s next for the LCRA?
Participation in the AGM is limited to 2015 members of the LCRA. Becoming a member or renewing your membership is easy. You can take care of your membership in advance at www.legacynet.ca or at the AGM. Annual membership is $20 per household. You can pay online as part of the registration process (via PayPal or credit card) or bring $20 cash to the AGM. Please remember that your annual membership dues will pay you back all year long – tickets for use at our Summer Festival, meal vouchers at our annual Corn Roast and map registration in our two annual garage sales.
We are also grateful again to have the involvement of Deputy Mayor Jack Heath. Thte Deputy Mayor will provide updates from the City and will be available to take your questions.
The AGM is a great opportunity to show your support for the LCRA and to help set us up for a fantastic 2015 membership year. We hope to see you there!
